We are delighted that the Freemasons, Brethren of the Province of Yorkshire & the West Riding and in particular Beaumont Lodge (who submitted the application) chose to support the work we do at Focus4Hope and provide us with a new minibus. We took delivery of this last week, have had it wrapped with our respective logos and are now able to continue our valuable work, supporting the vulnerable, in our local community.
A big part of our work at Focus4Hope is supporting the elderly who are often isolated and lonely and we do this by taking them on days out to various locations and venues throughout Yorkshire and this new bus, with its added comfort and reliability, will help with this immeasurably. Louise Reed, Founder of Focus4Hope was delighted by the support received and the recognition of what we do, ‘This new bus will enable us to continue with the valuable work that we do. Our days out for the more senior members of our community are incredibly popular and sell out months in advance, in addition we use the bus to transport our teams to Leeds and Halifax where we prepare hot, nutritious meals for the homeless and vulnerably housed. We are so grateful for this support and look forward to a long collaboration with the Freemasons.’
The bus was presented to Louise Reed and the team at Focus4hope at The Greenhead Masonic Hall, Huddersfield by Duncan Kilbride, Chairman of West Riding Masonic Charities Limited.
